While no formal announcement has been made, OpenAI has already developed a prototype of the browser and is collaborating with leading app and website developers, including Condé Nast, Redfin, Eventbrite, and Priceline, to assess its functionality. According to sources, representatives from these companies have previewed the prototype.
Disrupting the Search Engine Landscape
Market analysts suggest that ChatGPT's success has significantly boosted OpenAI's popularity, and the new browser could further solidify its position. OpenAI recently launched a premium search engine called SearchGPT, currently available only to its premium subscribers.
